Finalist - 2021 Earthshot Prize - Revive Our Oceans

We are proud to announce that Living Seawalls has been selected as one of the first-ever Finalists of The Earthshot Prize. Established by the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales, this global environmental prize aims to discover and scale the most inspiring and innovative solutions to the greatest environmental challenges facing the planet.

As one of 15 global Finalists, we are thrilled to see our work to Revive Our Oceans recognized alongside so many other incredible solutions.

Winner - 2022 National Banksia Biodiversity Award

This award is part of the Banksia Foundation’s National Sustainability Awards. Winners of 15 sustainability categories were announced at a ceremony on 31 March in Melbourne.

The Banksia Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that believes in the power of social and environment impact through community engagement and sustainable businesses practices. Through the National Banksia Sustainability Awards, now in its 33rd year, it recognises and encourages sustainability excellence, showcasing changemakers that inspire and enable sustainability innovation, and builds purposeful communities for sustainable development across Australia.

Winner - 2022 Uplink Top Innovator BiodiverCities Challenge

We are proud to announce that Living Seawalls has been selected as a winner of the World Economic Forum’s UpLink BiodiverCities Challenge!

We are among a cohort of 15 Top Innovators whose Nature Positive solutions can be scaled to create sustainable and resilient cities for the future.

This challenge is part of the BiodiverCities by 2030 initiative. We look forward to working with other Top Innovators to achieve Nature Positive, carbon neutral cities!

Winner - 2021 Banksia NSW Biodiversity Award

This inaugural NSW Biodiversity Award is part of the Banksia Foundation’s NSW Sustainability Awards which seek out and recognise innovation and leadership through the lens of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These global goals aim to unite the world businesses, governments and citizens to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and protect the planet.

Banksia is an Australian organisation which collaborates with government, business and community to create awards, events and programs that promote sustainable solutions. We are proud to have our Living Seawalls solution recognised by such a prestigious organisation.

Winner - 2023 NSW Coastal Management Award For Innovation

We are proud recipients of the 2023 award for Innovation! It’s wonderful to be recognised for our ecological enhancements in our home state. We have 16 Living Seawalls sites in NSW alone!

The NSW Coastal Management Awards publicly recognise and acknowledge the contributions of individuals, groups, organisations and agencies toward the ecologically sustainable management of the NSW coastal zone.
